You'll need a wooden melee weapon for the final puzzle, so don't ignore it. It's a good weapon to use in thunderstorms and it can double as a torch (just don't keep it lit too long).
Use the updraft to float over and get the Forest Dweller's Sword. There is a wooden treasure chest on a platform attached to the tallest pillar. You can use the metal platform to hop across to the pillar with the treasure chest on it - or use Magnesis to bring it to you much safer.
Stop before the nozzle, use Stasis to turn it off, switch back to Magnesis and move it all the way. Light it, then use Magnesis to move the platform on the rail. Look for a torch on top of the sliding metal platform. Then use the glider and the updrafts to cross over to it.
Fire an arrow from over here before you cross to light it. You can see a torch in the distance (top left). When they're both lit, they will stop moving and activate two updrafts. Then use it to light an arrow, stand at the center and wait for the platforms to be aligned and fire the arrow across both of them. The next puzzle requires a well-timed shot to light both torches on the moving platforms. You can also fire a lit arrow through both protected torches to beat the spouts. While Stasis is still active, light the final torch to open the next gate. So light the center torch first, then use Stasis on one of the other two torches and light it. The next room contains three torches you need to light - but there are water spouts that put out the flames if you try to light the ones on the sides. Use it to light your torch or weapon and light the next torch to open the way. Turn around and look for the torch on the elevator (right before the area with the Guardians). You will get a bunch of Ancient gear as well as two treasure chests containing valuable Giant Ancient Core (don't sell it! You use it for upgrades) and a Great Flameblade with Attack Up +18. Fire arrows at their eye or swing a sword for a quick victory. The battle shouldn't be too tough since these are all Guardian Scout I models. With the ball out of the way, run up the ramp and defeat four Guardian Scouts. You can also Stasis it to give yourself some more time. You'll feel like Indiana Jones for a few seconds, as you have to quickly step out of the way to avoid a spikey ball rolling right at you. Walk up the stairs and step on the pressure plate. This will open the path by completing the staircase back at the crossing. Light another arrow and fire it to light the torch on the elevator when it's at its lowest or highest point (and not behind the ornamental grate). Once lit, the torch will activate an elevator platform. Weapons like the Golden Bow let you strike distant targets more easily. The nozzles on the wall will extinguish your flame, so just light another arrow at the Blue Flame and fire it at the distant torch. You can light a (standard) arrow at the flame and then fire it at the torch at the crossroads (or carry the flame over there with a torch or wooden weapon). Before you light your torch, move the sliding platforms so that they create an even path back for you. Use Magnesis again to create a path to the stairwell with the Blue Flame torch at the top. Head left at the torch and use Magnesis to align the sliding platforms so that you can jump to the treasure chest to collect a Royal Bow. Don't let go - just keep pushing it up as you walk underneath. It requires that you light torches with a blue flame, so having a torch, wooden weapon, and arrows on hand is helpful - though you will also find some as you explore the shrine.Įquip Magnesis and lift the spike trap right ahead of you. Shora Ha is home to the Blue Flame challenge.
